A first of its kind sculpture, Intrepid combines multiple techniques and features metallic glass in shifting hues of gold, silver and copper, set against an onyx backdrop with shimmering iridescence throughout. Densely layered with more than 7 pounds of glass, Elijah hand-shaped this bold sculpture section by section. Intrepid is his most daring and striking sculpture to date.

Reflecting the organic allure of geodes and gemstones, Elijah’s Crystalline sculptures blend the granular textures of natural stone with the lustrous elegance of polished jewels. Each piece is composed of thousands of hand-crushed and sifted glass fragments, carefully layered in varying densities to shape intricate forms with depth, vibrant hues, and a radiant interplay of light.
