Elizabeth Lyne grew up in Kentucky where her Great Aunt Julia taught her that nothing was more valuable to receive than a handmade gift. She has a full-time job in the software industry but has been making jewelry steadily since she purchased a torch in 1997. She has been an exhibiting member of the Piedmont Craftsmen Guild and the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild since 2005. Her current work features her drawings that are etched onto silver and accented with 22k gold. She fabricates tool steel dies carved acrylic dies to form the pieces using a hydraulic press, bringing her drawings to life in the form of wearable objects.
