Lah Boh

ARTIST STATEMENT
My work explores how political decisions and shifting laws shape the emotional and social lives of individuals. Through symbolism, composition, and landscape, I create visual narratives that connect personal experiences with broader historical forces. Symbolism is central to my creation. I use shape, composition, and landscape to build images that aim to reveal how policy, memory, and identity intersect within human experience.

ARTIST BIO
Lah was born on the Thailand-Myanmar border and resettled in the United States as a refugee in 2007. He earned his BFA in oil painting from UNC Greensboro, and his work has been exhibited in spaces including FRANK Gallery and university institutions.
