Illuminating Creativity: Gilded Vellum Print Demonstration

Illuminating Creativity: Gilded Vellum Print Demonstration

Illuminating Creativity: gilded vellum print demonstration

Saturday, November 17

Lis Tyroler will be conducting a hands-on demonstration of the process she uses to apply Gold Leaf to prints on Vellum. Lis uses this technique as an opportunity for tactile, creativity-inspiring play in a digital world. Unpredictable and finicky, different applications of the adhesive and leaf will yield wildly different results! Lis will demonstrate each step of the process, as well as providing a brief opportunity for students to experiment with the materials themselves.

Fee: free (but please register on the link below)

When: Saturday, October 20th from 10-2pm

Where: in FRANK’s Community Gallery (on the Southern Seasons end of the mall across from the Verizon store)
