SUMMARY:Off the Wall Gala 2024
DESCRIPTION:FRANK’s signature fundraising event is well-known for its excitement\, spectacular selection of art\, and community roots. Join us at 6 pm on October 26 for our 14th Gala supporting FRANK Gallery’s mission to enrich our community through art. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAttend in-gallery or from home\n\n\n\nThe Gala will be held in the gallery as well as broadcast live via Zoom for attendees who want to enjoy art and a tasty cheese box in the comfort of their home. For guests attending in person\, a full bar\, heavy hors d’oeuvres and light snacks will be provided. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow does it work?\n\n\n\nWith the purchase of an Art Ticket\, your name is entered into a pool with other art ticket holders. During the gala\, the names of art ticket holders will be drawn at random (this is the fun part!) and read out loud by our emcee\, local radio personality\, Aaron Keck. Once called\, you’ll have one minute to choose your favorite piece of art “off the wall” to take home. It gets exciting as you never know what piece will go next! This event will be hybrid\, meaning we’ll offer a limited amount of in-person art and companion tickets\, and some online virtual tickets! In-person guests will enjoy delicious food and an open bar. Online guests have the same chance to select art off the wall\, but from the comfort of their home. \n\n\n\nThere will be plenty of donated art (from our generous artists!) all valued at more than the price of a ticket! We invite you to see all the artwork ahead time in two ways\, in-gallery or online. Visit the gallery the week before the Gala to see all the donated art hanging. Also\, preview the works here as they are donated. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCAN’T ATTEND THE GALA? \n\n\n\nPlease donate to FRANK’s Francine Pilloff Community Outreach and Education Program\n\n\n\n\nDONATION OPTIONS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSILENT AUCTION\n\n\n\nBid on more than 80 amazing items\, including art\, local experiences\, restaurant gift cards and much more. \n\n\n\n\nSTART BIDDING\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVIRTUAL ACCESS\n\n\n\nFor Virtual Gala ticket holders only. \n\n\n\nGet Zoom ready: If you don’t have Zoom installed on your device\, go to https://zoom.us to download the Zoom app. \n\n\n\nCheck in from 6 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturday\, go to https://ncsu.zoom.us/my/brandfortner \n\n\n\nClick on “Join with video”  \n\n\n\nPlease orient yourself with the features and layout of Zoom\, and use “chat” to ask us questions during the event\, Feel free to call us at the gallery if you have questions before the event.   \n\n\n\nDuring the Gala\, Keep yourself muted. Then when your name is called for the Off The Wall drawing\, turn on your camera and your mic. \n\n\n\nTell us the number of the art you are choosing\, and the artist’s name. \n\n\n\nAnd\, write your number selection ona piece of paper and hold it up to the camera so we can be sure we heard you correctly! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDonated Artworks\n\n\n\n\nDOWNLOAD THE PROGRAM\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n	\n	\n	Keith Allen\, “Slice of life” tripod hall shelf\, 41” wide X 16” deep X 33” high\, walnut\, poplar and milk paintKeith Allen\, Green Maple Table With Drawer\, 25” wide X 15” deep X 27” high\, maple\, poplar and milk paintRose Warner\, Blooms and Wings\, 25″ x 31″\, acrylic paint\, canvas and threadNatalie Boorman\, Pot\, CeramicSasha Bakaric\, Lamp\, 15.5″ h x 6″ w\, ceramic and rice paper Natalie Boorman\, Winterfell\, handbuilt pinch poit\, coil on the outside pit fired with ferns\, 11″h x 12″wEric Serritella\, Paper Birch Basket\, Ceramic\, 6″ x 6″ x 4″ Rebecca McLaughlin Neigher\, earrings and necklace set\, Necklace is Sterling Silver and Labradorite and Earrings are Sterling Silver\, Labradorite and Coin Pearls\nTama Hochbaum\, Curved Matrix I\, 12″ x 20″ \, Archival digital print on metallic paper\, mounted onto Dibond Susan Filley\, Crystal Mat Vase \, 11.5″ h x 9″ w\, Porcelain Carroll Lassiter\, Low Clouds\, 16″ x 20″ oil on panelCarroll Lassiter\, September Beaufort County\, 24″ x 48″\, oil on panelKaidy Lewis\, Unboxed\, oil on canvas\, 20″ x 20″ Kaidy Lewis\, Green Leaves\, 20.5″ x 17″\, oil on canvasMarguerite Jay Gignoux\, Provence\, textile Kaidy Lewis\, Belles\, 31″ x 26″\, oil on canvasLuna Lee Ray\, Perigee\, mixed media\, 24”x 24”Mirinda Kossoff\, Necklace and Earring Set\, The necklace is composed of sterling chain with leather connections and a slice of agate set in sterling with a small cz mounted on top and dark grey/black post and drop river stone earrings are encased in sterling bezels	Patricia Saling\, Vase\, white stoneware with crystalline vase\,	18″ x 8″ Peg Bachenheimer\, Taking Time and Roundabout\, 12″ x 9″\,	acrylic on panelLila Bacon\, Thoughts\, Acrylic on canvas\, 40”L x 30”H x 1.5” DJohn Parkinson\, Franklin Table\, Zebrawood\, ebonized red oak\, 26″h x 17″ w x 17 lAshlie Johnson Coggins\, Evening Primrose I\, 24″ x 18″\, photographAshlie Johnson Coggins\, Evening Primrose II\, 24″ x 18″\, photographBill McAllister\, Swamp Reflections\, Ossabaw Island\, 24″ x 20″\, archival pigment printBill McAllister\, Breaking Wave\, Glacia\, 20″ h x 24″w\, archival pigment printAlan Dehmer\, Low Tide\, Emerald Isle\, NC\, 31” x 28” Alexandra Givens\, Here Comes The Sun\, 18″ x 10″\, Textile Ley Killeya\, Dance when you’re perfectly free\, acrylic on canvas\, 30″ x 15″Ley Killeya\, Dance when you’re broken open\, acrylic on canvas\, 30×15Kaidy Lewis\, Love After Love\, Oil on canvas\, 24″ x 29″Nancy Marple\, Ancestral Ties II\, Acrylic\, encaustic and handmade paper\, 17″ x 21″Anne Wall Thomas\, Autumn Paradox\, Mixed media on paper\, 24″ x 20″ framedMichele Maynard\, “minerals+water+time\, no. 2”\,	Acrylic on board\, 24″ x 36″ Jane Filer\, Country Roads\, Acrylic on canvas\, 9.5″ x 12″\, $1\,000Katherine Armacost\, Personal Paths\, Oil on canvas\, 30″ x 30″Lew Graham\, Light as Air\, Encaustic on panel\, 30″ x 30″Catherine Gregory\,	Black Horse\, Acrylic\, 13.5″ x 14″ Theresa P-Tan\, Chockablock\, 18″ x 24″\, mixed media on wood panelTheresa P-Tan\, Topsy Turvy\,	18″ x 24″ mixed media on wood panelPeter Filene\, In the Distance\, 8″ x 11″\, Photo collage Peter Filene\, Playmates\, 20″ x 27″\, photocollage Donna Stubbs\, Don’t Rush Me\, 24″ x 24″\, mixed media & acrylic Barbara Tyroler\, WinterTerm Toes\,	29” x 39”\, photographyBarbara Tyroler\, Summer Term\, 24″ x 48”\, photographyLuna Lee Ray & Donna Stubbs Collaboration\, Salter Path\, 24″ x 36″\, Mixed Media Nerys Levy\, Gallery\, 18″ x 24″\, Acrylic\, charcoal and water soluble pen on paperNerys Levy\, “Bouquet”\, 16” x 12”\, Mixed media water color and water soluble pen on hand made paperJean LeCluyse\, Flight Patterns I\, 11 x 14\, mixed mediaJean LeCluyse\, Underdevelopment at Obey Creek\, 24″ x 36″\, Graphite\, GessoDan Gottlieb\, Hurricane\, Photograph and paint on panel\, 41 x 23Dan Gottlieb\, Cypress Grove\, 27″ x 27″\, Photograph and paint on panelLinda Prager\, Set of plates clay\, assorted sizesCarolyn Rugen\, Creek Series 6\, 39″ x 31″\, oil on canvas Carolyn Rugen\, Summer Comes Through the Windows\, oil on canvas\, 40″ x 38″\, oil on canvas Donna Stubbs\, Wishing Well\, 12″ x 24″\, mixed media on panelR.
