The arts have proven to be fundamental in education and economic development across all types of communities, including our own. FRANK Gallery is a venue that supports and celebrates arts of all kinds:

  • Visual arts through twelve exhibitions annually, featuring more than forty local and regional artists each year.
  • Performing arts through partnerships with other local organizations and special events featuring local musicians and performers.
  • Literary arts through readings and collaborations with some of the finest poets and authors throughout the Southeast.
  • Community arts through support and celebration of the art created by children, friends, and craftsmen that are working with essential local organizations that use the arts to inspire an action or promote a cause.

Since opening our doors seven years ago, FRANK has achieved a lot. With each accomplishment, we are driven to do more and continue to strengthen the arts in Chapel Hill. As we head into 2018 we look forward to bringing new and exciting artists to the gallery, building community partnerships with other non-profits and service organizations, educating at risk kids in the arts through afterschool mentorship programs, and offering more hands-on opportunities for people of all ages to create and enjoy the arts. The artists of FRANK Gallery have a passion for building a rich, creative, arts infrastructure in Chapel Hill – and we can’t do it without you.

The generosity of our supporters is crucial to our success. We hope you will consider becoming donor this year by making a tax deductible contribution to FRANK Gallery. A gift of just $100 provides art supplies for one of our Karen Youth Art Group students for the year; a gift of $1,000 allows us to produce a month-long community outreach exhibition. No matter the size of the gift, we need your help to reach our 2017 fundraising goal of $15,000 by December 31, 2017.

The Franklin Street Arts Collective (FRANK) is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible. Please consult your tax preparer.
