FRANK Gallery to Relocate to University Place in 2018 and Will Open a Pop-Up Shop There for Current Holiday Season!
A seven-year fixture in downtown Chapel Hill, FRANK Gallery is moving to University Place early in 2018. FRANK, a nonprofit artists’ collective showcasing the work of local and regional fine artists, will celebrate its move with a grand re-opening at University Place on Friday, February 9th, 2018. For this holiday season, FRANK also will have a pop-up shop in the new University Place location, running from November 24 to December 24, 2017, as well as its regular gallery hours in the downtown location.
“We are excited about the broader accessibility and the larger space for outreach exhibits and programs that the move will provide,” said Gordon Jameson, FRANK founding member and acting gallery manager. “We see the potential for great synergies with the other businesses and organizations located at University Place. We have been a long-time outreach program collaborator with Kidzu Children’s Museum, which is located there,” said Jameson.
FRANK will continue to operate its gallery at the current location in downtown Chapel Hill through December 22, 2017.
