My
style has evolved from realism in the 1960’s through turbulent
expressionism to Abstract Expressionism in the new century. Some
paintings are executed with bold lines on canvas or paper, others are
suggestive of landscapes or figurative art. Many are influenced by
Chinese calligraphy. Motion and emotion become one. The immediacy of
the brush, relying on accident and the unconscious, creates the essence
of the moment with the least possible detail and, most importantly,
allows the viewer to bring life to the art. As a minimalist, I want
this emotion conveyed to you and ideally allow your emotion to dream
the same vision as the artist.
